Matthew Adams

Practice Manager

Matt, originally from the UK graduated from agricultural college, and spent his early career working on dairy, beef, sheep and arable farms. With years of experience and knowledge Matt went on to educate future generations of farmers by managing, teaching and lecturing at many agricultural colleges in the UK. Matt branched out into the veterinary sector of the animal industry and purchased the clinic with his wife Hollie, our head vet, in 2017. Since then, Matt has managed our veterinary team.

Matt has a zoo at home, with his main side kick, Salty, a staghound rescue dog being his shadow. 

Matt and Hollie have 2 young boys that enjoy the outdoors. In his spare time you would find Matt with his family, riding his horse, motorbiking, kayaking, making ceramics, adoring his cows and planting trees. Skiing, travelling, reading books and listening to music are some of his favourite pastimes.


Dr Hollie Adams

Senior Veterinarian and Director (BSc (Hons) BVM&S)

Hollie is originally from the UK and did her veterinary degree at Edinburgh University. Prior to qualifying as a vet, Hollie graduated from her first degree with first class honours and worked as an animal nutritionist. Hollie has two boys, Charlie and Gus, with her husband Matt, who is our practice manager.

Hollie has a gorgeous staghound called Salty, a very handsome boxer cross called Moose, and a menagerie of horses, cattle, parrots, sheep, pigs, chickens and guinea fowl. Hollie loves all aspects of being a vet, but spending time helping clients and their beloved pets through medical and surgical conditions is by far the most rewarding and enjoyable part of the job. Hollie enjoys the challenge of in depth medical and surgical cases, and prides herself on offering the best standard of care.

During her spare time, Hollie enjoys spending time with her family and animals, riding her horses, swimming in the ocean and gardening.


Dr Fiona Warton

Veterinarian

Fiona graduated from Melbourne University as a veterinarian in 1997 and subsequently worked in both dairy and mixed practive in Victoria for 6 years. Following this Fiona moved to South Australia to work as a small animal clinician in a large rural practice. Fiona enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine, including behaviour, and loves building bonds with her patients.

Fiona has had a wide range of pets, including chickens, peacocks, an alpaca, dorper sheep, dogs, cats, and birds.

Fiona moved to the western district and loves living in the area with her family, enjoying the beach and Tower Hill, amongst other hobbies such as, gardening, cooking, reading and spending time with family and friends.

 


Dr Sam Remington

Veterinarian (BVSc)

Sam graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne in 2002. Sam started her career in Portland and then moved to a clinic in Warrnambool to be closer to her husband. Sam relishes the challenge of small animal practice, particularly enjoying surgery.
Sam lives out of town with her husband and 4 kids where they rear calves. Ebony & Herbert are the resident spoilt Miniature Schnauzers who allow the cats Lizzy, Pepper and 20 year old Twisties to cohabitate.
Sam loves getting involved in the community through her close relationships with the local kindergarten and school, as well as the Warrnambool Community Garden. She loves to cook, garden and dabble in a large variety of crafts in her time off.


Dr Jenny Stewart

Veterinarian

Jenny grew up in south-east South Australia on her family's beef and sheep farm. Jenny always wanted to be a vet and graduated from Murdoch university in 2000. Upon graduation, she worked in mixed practice in Warrnambool and the UK. Jenny decided to make the move into small animal practice in 2023 and joined the Lava Street Veterinary Clinic team. 

Outside of work Jenny spends time with her family and friends and likes to head back to South Australia to see her family. Jenny loves taking her dogs to the beach and has a menagerie of animals at home.


Dr Kerryn Agnew

Veterinarian

Kerryn graduated from the University of Queensland in 2012 with honours and has worked in small and mixed animal practice.
 
Kerryn enjoys small animal surgery, dentistry and medicine. 
 
Kerryn recently moved to the South West with her husband, young daughter, Jack Russell and three Arabian horses.
 
In Kerryn’s spare time she competes in endurance with her horses and enjoys Pilates, cycling, camping and coffee!


Evie Oliver

Veterinary Practice Manager

Evie grew up on beef and sheep farms in the Grampians and Bonnie Doon. Always interested in working within the veterinary industry, Evie started working at veterinary clinics whilst still at  school. Over the years, she has gained experience working within a variety of clinics, including large animal, exotics & small animal specialist level nursing. After spending the last few years travelling and working around Australia, she is glad to be back in Warrnambool. 
At home Evie has 3 dogs, Finnbarr, Feta and Grizzly. As well as 2 cats, Velma & Yzma, and her handsome horses, Krummi and Bob. 


Nicole Smith

Senior Vet Nurse

Growing up on a farm in Mepunga, Nicole had always wanted to work with animals and dedicate her life to their care and welfare.

Nicole began her veterinary nursing career in Queensland in 2012. One year later she moved back to windy Warrnambool and found herself here with us at the clinic. During this time, she completed her certificate IV in veterinary nursing through Box Hill institute.

Whilst working here, Nicole has adopted a black greyhound named Ally, who now is a part of the tripod club. Ally loves taking over Nicole's bed and couch without asking. Nicole also owns as chestnut thoroughbred called Nova, who was rescued, and completes her little family.

Nicole's love and passion really shines through when she comes to work and she loves caring for every patient that walks through the door. 

In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, playing Netball, sleeping with her lazy greyhound, horse riding and travelling the world.


Sarah Williams

Head Nurse

It has been a lifelong passion for Sarah to become a vet nurse, and she adores caring for your beloved pets. She loves and takes care of them like they are her own. 

Sarah is the owner of two very mischievous and fun-loving Cocker Spaniels, Simbah and Korra, a very snappy turtle and a beautiful standardbred called Willow. 

Sarah is a very energetic person who loves her family and friends and enjoys a good joke. She loves avocado and puts it on anything. 


Ashlyn Rivett

Veterinary Nurse

Ashlyn grew up in Woodford, a small town outside of Warrnambool. Growing up she was always surrounded by pets, whether it was bunnies, fish, birds, guinea pigs, cats or dogs.

As Ashlyn got older and after trialling different career paths, she knew she was passionate about working with animals and joined our team to commence her study to become a veterinary nurse. 

When Ashlyn is not at work, she enjoys taking her family's dogs for a walk on the beach and for a swim in the ocean.

Ashlyn has a gorgeous dog called Stormi and rabbit called Binky. 

 


Isabella Quadroy

Veterinary Nurse

Bella is a Warrnambool local and has joined our team to start her career in the veterinary industry. Bella loves caring for patients and taking the time to get to know each patient that comes into the clinic. Bella loves to learn new things and is working with our nursing team to provide the absolute best care for your pets. 

Bella has a beautiful Golden Retriever  named Tilly.Tily has the sweetest personality and can make anyone smile instantly. 

Outside of work Bella enjoys baking sweets and going on long walks with Tilly. 


Holly Vis

Veterinary Nurse

Holly grew up on a small hobby farm with cows, sheep, horses and goats. She really enjoyed rearing calves and chickens the most.

Holly has a gorgeous 13-year-old Border Collie, named Hutchy, who loves his treats and playing with his friends. Holly also has a Red Heeler called Moo. 

Outside of work Holly enjoys going to the beach, reading and spending time with friends. She is currently studying Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, as it is her dream to work alongside animals and other animal loving people.


Holly Quigley

Veterinary Nurse

Holly has always wanted to become a veterinary nurse ever since she could remember. After watching the series, Bondi Vet, her passion for helping animals grow even more!

Holly has grown up with animals her whole life and currently owns an adorable Maltese Shih Tzu named Alfie, along with 2 cats and a turtle named Tango.

Outside of work, Holly enjoys dancing, volunteering at the RSPCA and hanging out with her friends.

Holly aims to put 100% in every task she conducts and loves to learn new things everyday.


Jenny Burton

Veterinary Nurse

Jenny is originally from the UK and studied Zoology whilst at University. Previously Jenny has worked in various roles from an aquarist to a alpaca trekking guide. Alongside working at LSVC, Jenny also works at the RSPCA. Jenny has a caring nature and loves to nurture great relationships with patients and their families. Jenny loves all animals fluffy, feathery and fishy. In her spare time Jenny enjoys cycling and hiking.


Ashlee Taylor

Veterinary Nurse

Ashlee is a Warrnambool local and has always had an interest in the care and healthcare for animals which drove her to move to Ballarat to complete a degree in Veterinary and wildlife science. Now working in the clinic with the nursing team, she is able to put all her knowledge and care into looking after your pets. 

Ashlee has a bustling home with 3 large personality cats, 2 Guinea pigs, and numerous goldfish. 
Outside of work, Ashlee loves cuddling up with her cats and reading, as well as painting and other arts & crafts.


Kate Huebner

Veterinary Nurse

Kate grew up on a small acreage just outside of Warrnambool.
Her family have always owned pets, and this inspired Kate to pursue a career as a vet nurse.
In 2023 Kate studied a certificate III in animal care, and is currently studying a certificate IV in veterinary nursing.
Kate has an adorable but stubborn dachshund named Willow and four loving cats.
In her spare time, Kate enjoys baking and spending time with her family.

 


Sammy Le Cerf

Veterinary Nurse

Sammy is originally from Tasmania and grew up being always surrounded by many animals. She has spent her adult life in Warrnambool and completed her certificate IV in veterinary nursing in 2011.

Sammy loves caring for each patient that comes into the clinic and getting to know their owners. She treats all the patients as if they were her own. Sammy comes from a family of Labrador owners and particularly adores black labs. 

Outside of work, Sammy loves to visit family and friends, go to the gym, and go on adventures with her husband and their 3 children.


Maddison Drake

Veterinary Nurse

Maddison has grown up on a farm in Allansford and has had the opportunity to be around animals her entire life. She has always loved animals and has two beautiful dogs, Harry and Leia, as well as two cats, a turtle, a budgie and a fish. Maddison has also enjoyed raising pet lambs.

Maddison's other passion is sport. She loves playing netball and competing in sport aerobics and hip hop, and has done so from a very young age. Maddision is looking forward to learning from the other members of the LSVC team as she studies Certificate II in Animal Care, and is excited about becoming a fully qualified veterinary nurse in the future.
